I just had to post this since I was a Hot Wheels designer and still do work for them every once and awhile. This is truly very cool.

Vehicle Painting tutorial
This Vehicle painting tutorial was done by me and Hoi Mun. We both show different techniques on rendering vehicles. Well worth the price and very nicely put together by the people at 2D Artist magazine. Follow this link to check it out. Vehicle Painting.

Early Sketch idea for graphics by Dwayne Vance
These screen shots are from Forza 3 Motorsports, a very good driving game if I do say so myself. In case you didn't know I am an avid gamer and I love driving games and the occasional Halo series. I worked on these graphics while I was at Troy Lee Designs. The graphics were for the team Flying Lizard and they raced this car in 24 Hours of Le Mans in France. Now they feature the car in Forza 3 motorsport. I was rather stoked on the fact that I had the opportunity to work on such a cool project. I took these pictures from the game after I raced the car. The top three pictures are from the game, the next three are some of the design sketches and Illustrator drawings for the graphic. Then the final two are actual photos of the car that raced I am including shots of the real car as well. The graphics is supposed to be a huge lizard that stretches from the hood to the rear of the car. They wanted an art car feel to it so we added plenty of colors to really set it apart from the rest of the pack racing in Le Mans.
